Welcome to the Dominica Maritime Registry, Inc. (DMRI)

The Registry is operated by the Commonwealth of Dominica and the Commonwealth of Dominica Maritime Registry, Inc. (DMRI), located in Fairhaven, Massachusetts. DMRI was founded upon strength, integrity and technical capability that fosters service, not bureaucracy! A simple fee system exists, dynamic marine personnel programs have been developed and most importantly ... the marine safety experience of its founding team has over 100 years of experience at IMO. The Registry was established to ensure that quality ship owners and operators would have the ability to operate their vessels under the sovereignty of a nation that prides itself on the protection of environment and humanity while fostering economic stability and growth in the international marketplace. The Commonwealth of Dominica is a nation that is a sound democracy, is at peace, is environmentally responsible and is directly impacted by maritime trade and industry.

Our goal is to become the flag of choice for all quality shipowners and operators, giving them the ability to operate in an open-registry system that prides itself on integrity, honor and humanity. All of these actions serve to fulfill our pledge to be known as "The Flag of Responsibility."

DMRI is an ISO 9000/2001 Certified Company, another testament to our commitment to quality and our customers.
